28 Days

28 Days is a Chicago-based cover band that can be seen performing at many fine establishments in the Chicagoland area.
28 Days plays a wide variety of music, everything from the music you grew up listening to through today's hits. Whether your musical taste encompasses Pop, Rock, Funk, Classic Rock, Country, Techno, Rap, R&B, or Gospel music, 28 Days delivers each genre authentically in its truest form. "We don't play 'Heavy Metal' or 'Prog Rock' mainly because we don't look very good in Spandex."
The band name, 28 Days, refers to the number of days it takes to change one's behavior or habits. Though 28 Days may not be a concrete number for this change, many therapists believe that after the 28-day mark, real change begins to take shape. "We adopted this concept for our band name because we wanted to 'change' the way audiences viewed the local cover band scene. We wanted to stand out in a sea of mediocrity, be unique and provide an unparalleled entertainment experience unlike any local and even regional cover band ever could."
As it's been with many bands for many years, a new band forms then breaks up, re-forms, then breaks up and so on with numerous band name changes in between. Some names stick, and some, well, it's better to forget them all together.
Their story is not much different. They started out as "Jake To The Bone" in the summer of 2006 and after three years of gigging, periodic changes in musical direction and several personnel changes, a final new direction was established. With professional backing and a newfound excitement and desire to elevate their music, their shows and their aspiration to provide their audiences with the best live entertainment experience, 28 Days was formed.
28 Days consists of Paul Shamoun on lead vocals, Joseph Maxwell on guitar and vocals, Kevin Triplett on bass and vocals, and Paulet PJ Howard on percussion and vocals.

Musicianship, theatrics and that unmistakable Irish brogue fuel original songs that came straight from the radio playlist.
